Freeelising.biz - Instructions for Creating and Managing your Free Listing
Your e-mail address is a very secure, and very individualized method to create and manage you free listing. This method is safer than a log-in window and providing a password, as you are the only one with access to the email address you provided.
Below are simple instructions on how to edit your Free Real Estate listing on FreeListing.biz . The instructions are seperated into 5 sections: Getting Started, Confirm Your Listing, Editing, Images and Status Change.
We suggest that you take a moment to read this entire page to familiarize yourself with our system and enable you to easily manage your for sale by owner listing.
Getting Started - Your Encrypted Email Confirmation
In order to edit you for sale by owner listing you must have your encrypted email confirmation that was sent to the email address your originally provided.
If you have not received this email or deleted it by accident, you may request another copy by entering your listing ID number in the form below and immediately checking your email.
Your Password or Listing ID is at the bottom left hand side of the e-mail that was sent to you After you register. The password is a 7 digit code and is located beneath your login which is your e-mail address.
Important: Make sure your e-mail security settings, or spam filters will allow FreeListing.biz to e-mail you your registration login information.
If you have done this and you have not received an email with the subject line: "FreeListing.biz Membership Registration” Confirm Your FreeListing.biz " from us you may want to check your "Spam" folder as it may have been diverted there by your spam filter.
Note: Hotmail email addresses appear to be a problematic due to the spam filter technology used.
Tip: It's important to check your email daily as we have noticed that the majority of home buyers are inquiring late at night via email. The sooner you respond to email inquiries that better chance you have selling your home for sale by owner.

Confirm Your Registration by Logging into FreeListing.biz
Once you have received your registration e-mail you are ready to begin. Simply follow the link to the website or just return to http://www.freelisting.biz and go to Sign In, it is that easy!
Step 1: Login into the website and goto “ My Account” and begin managing your Freelisting.
Editing Your FREE Listing
Now that you have completed the steps above, access your listing management page by clicking the encrypted link provided via email to edit your Free listing.
Step 1: Make changes to your Free listing and click any button.
You may edit your price, description, photos, anything.. Once completed you may click any of the buttons to save the changes. After pressing the update button you must wait a few moments until the page automatically changes to your actual listing page for you to view your new changes. Exiting before this will not save changes.
Edit Your Listing Images
Images are the single most important thing you can do to your add to help it get sold. Be sure to add all 6 photos. According to 2006 survey by the California Association of REALTORS, 89% of home buyers indicated that property images was the most important information they used when deciding which property listings they where going to visit.
Access your listing management page using your encrypted email confirmation as noted above.
Step 1: Use the to locate the image(s) on your computer you wish to add.
Step 2: Click the button to save the photo(s) to your online listing.
Important: You must wait until the images are imported from your computer onto the freelisting.biz server. This may take a few moments depending on the number and size of your photos, as well as your internet connection speed. You will know it's completed once the window changes and you see your updated free listing page with the new images.
Common Image Questions
Wrong Photo: If you uploaded the wrong photo, simply use the browse button and locate the correct photo, press update and this will replace the existing incorrect photo.
Photos Will Not Load: This is typically because your photo size is too large. If the photo is larger than 1200kb (1.2 megs) it will not load. Please reduce the size of your photo using any photo editing program. The smaller the photo size the faster it will load.
Photo is Streched or Squished: This may be because your original photo size is too small, under 400 X 300 or you have it loaded a "vertical" format photo.

Changing Property Status - Sold, Pending, Delete
You may change the status of your listing anytime. Use your encrypted email to access you listing management page.
Once you have accessed this page, you will see the following three buttons used to change the status of your listing.
Step 1: Select the appropriate listing status button and wait a moment for window to change.
Step 2: Follow status change instructions and click the button.
Tip: If you have entered into escrow but your transaction is not complete, we suggest that you change the status to "Pending" so that you continue to receive inquiries and prepare "back-up" offers until your transaction is complete.
Note: Selecting "Delete" will remove your listing, phone number and email address from the search function of our database. Your listing may continue to appear in search engines until they have renewed their index.
